Stage 5: Vocals is an intensive singing class tailored for ages 14+ who have completed at least one year of Stage 4 or have equivalent experience. Students in this class are preparing for public performances, pursuing musical theatre roles, and considering post-secondary education in the performing arts. The curriculum focuses on cultivating an appropriate audition repertoire, perfecting ensemble work, and understanding the expectations of post-secondary and professional auditions, including video submissions. Stage 4/5: Vocals is an advanced singing class designed for ages 11+ who have completed at least one year of Stage 4 or have equivalent experience. In this class, students deepen their understanding of reading sheet music for vocals, furthering their musical literacy. They focus on honing their healthy vocal technique, exploring complex harmonies, and begin to build a solo repertoire of audition cuts, preparing them for future performance opportunities. Stage 6: Audition Workshop is an immersive class designed for ages 16+, offering a focused and practical exploration of musical theatre audition technique for students interested in pursuing professional work or post-secondary training in musical theatre. This class supports young performers in developing the skills, confidence, and preparedness required to succeed in competitive audition environments. Students will work on selecting and preparing vocal solos, building a versatile audition book, and strengthening their acting-through-song technique by exploring character, storytelling, and emotional connection.

Throughout the course, students will participate in mock auditions, receive individualized feedback, and gain insight into both professional and post-secondary audition expectations. Emphasis is placed on presentation, professionalism, and confidence in the room, while also helping students manage nerves and refine their performance skills. Stage 5: Ballet/Jazz (Ages 14+) is designed for dancers with a minimum of 2 years of dance experience, focusing on building a solid technical foundation for musical theatre-style jazz choreography. The class combines advanced ballet and jazz techniques to enhance strength, flexibility, and musicality, while emphasizing proper alignment, body control, and performance skills. Students will learn more complex movements, sequences, and choreography, preparing them for expressive and dynamic jazz performances in musical theatre settings.

Stage 4/5: Tap is a beginner tap class for children aged 11+ with at least 2 years of dance experience, though no prior tap experience is required. This class introduces students to the fundamentals of tap dance, focusing on basic steps, rhythms, and timing while developing coordination, footwork, and musicality. Through engaging exercises and routines, students will build a strong foundation in tap technique, learning how to create rhythm and sound with their feet, and prepare for more advanced tap choreography.

Stage 6: Dance Workshop is an immersive class designed for ages 16+, offering a focused and high-energy exploration of dance for students interested in pursuing professional work or post-secondary training in musical theatre. This class is designed to strengthen versatility, confidence, and technical skill across a wide range of styles commonly seen in musical theatre, including jazz, ballet, contemporary, and commercial dance. Students will build the foundational technique and performance quality needed to meet industry expectations.

Throughout the course, students will learn to quickly pick up and retain choreography through dance call–style classes that simulate real audition environments. Emphasis is placed on musicality, precision, adaptability, and performance, while helping students develop strategies to learn combinations efficiently and perform with confidence under pressure. Led by experienced instructors, this class provides a supportive and challenging environment where students can refine their skills and prepare to succeed in professional and post-secondary dance settings.

Stage 5: Theatre offers an intensive drama experience for ages 14+ who have completed one year of Stage 4 or have equivalent experience. In this class, students expand their understanding of dramaturgy, diving deep into the analysis and interpretation of scripts to develop nuanced and insightful performances. They focus on creating a strong foundation of acting technique, honing their skills in voice, movement, and character development to become versatile and compelling actors. Additionally, students work on building a repertoire of monologues, preparing them for post-secondary and professional auditions, as well as video submissions. Led by experienced instructors, this class provides a challenging and supportive environment for young actors to refine their craft, build confidence, and prepare for a future in the performing arts. Stage 6: Theatre Creation is an immersive class designed for ages 14–18, offering a comprehensive exploration of theatre-making for students interested in pursuing theatre in a professional capacity. This class invites young artists to develop their creative voice through playwriting, devising, and the creation of original work across a range of styles, including straight theatre, musical theatre, immersive experiences, and experimental performance. Students will gain insight into the full creative process, from initial concept to final production.

The class focuses on foundational and advanced skills in storytelling, script development, and collaborative creation. Students will explore playwriting techniques, character development, structure, and genre, while also engaging in devised theatre practices and interdisciplinary approaches to performance. Emphasis is placed on idea generation, experimentation, and developing original material.

Students will also gain hands-on experience bringing their work to life, taking on roles such as writer, director, performer, and producer as they rehearse and stage original creations. Focus is placed on refining work, understanding production elements, and presenting pieces for an audience. Throughout the course, students will build a portfolio of their creative work, supporting future applications and professional pursuits.
